We are so fortunate to have an amazing group of people to work with each day at Downtown Dental Centre. If you haven’t visited us in the past 6 months, we have a few new faces since August. Due to family commitments, we had several changes in our staffing last year, but we are so pleased with how it has all worked out. Not only do we get visits from our two new babies, Kooper (Kim) and Grady (Larissa), we also gained the enthusiasm and dedication of two new assistants, Sarah and Kylie.
Sarah comes to us from the great metropolis of Humboldt, but she’s now calling Regina home. She graduated with distinction in the Dental Assisting program at Sask PolyTechnic in June 2016. She is a quick learner and a fantastic team member, helping out everyone in the back with sterilizing instruments, stocking products, and of course, assisting our patients and Dr. Dodds in the operatory.
Kylie is from Moose Jaw and is also a 2016 graduate of the Dental Assisting program. She brings a great deal of attention and knowledge to her work here at Downtown Dental Centre, as well as a welcoming smile and terrific attitude! We value them both greatly!
One other new face you may have noticed in the past year or so is Leah, our hygienist who works on Fridays and occasional Mondays. Even though she isn’t here everyday, she is a valuable part of our team, offering caring and quality work to our patients. She also has the height to help us out with “high” issues when Dr Dodds isn’t around! (Otherwise our staff are quite height-deficient – our only downfall!!)
